- I have read this message and all the replies to it to this point and I
- most say I'm at a loss as to what the hell could be happeneing to you
- guys!
-
- First, until this week (my A4000T just came in, have not used it yet) I
- have been using the VLAB Motion on a A3000/25Mhz/SCSI1 (yes you heard
- right) with a fast Quantum 2Gig drive and MS2.6.
-
- After two complete days of playing with every single parameter in the
- board I was getting consistently 70% compression video and even 75% on
- some of my LW animations. It does take a lot of tweeking to get a good
- looking signal, the TBC is horrible and the softening filters have to be
- used very carefuly to get acceptable results, but it is possible. I
- captured live video from a Sony BVW 400 camera at 70% quality with no
- problems.
-
- I am currently working on a LW animation that does not require full screen
- playback and I'm hoping to get 85% for 1/2 screen animations and 90%+ for
- 1/4 screen playback. I'll be doing this tomorrow so I'll let you guys know
- how it goes.

- I'm hoping to get 80-85% now that I have the A4000T with SCSI2.
